US - final injury determination on potassium phosphate salts |
The US International Trade Commission (ITC) has announced its injury determinations in its final phase antidumping and countervailing duty investigations concerning certain potassium phosphate salts from China that the U.S. Department of Commerce (DOC) has determined are subsidized and sold in the United States at less than fair value.
All six Commissioners found three domestic like products in these investigations. All six Commissioners made affirmative determinations with respect to anhydrous dipotassium phosphate (DKP) and tetrapotassium pyrophosphate (TKPP), finding that a U.S. industry is materially injured by reason of imports of these products from China. All six Commissioners made a negative determination with respect to anhydrous monopotassium phosphate (MKP).
As a result of the ITC's affirmative determinations, the DOC will issue antidumping and countervailing duty orders on imports of DKP and TKPP from China. As a result of the Commission's negative determination, no orders will be issued on imports of MKP from China. News Release
