Turkey extends anti-dumping duties on hinges and similar articles |

The Turkish Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade, through Communiqué 2008/18, concluded an anti-circumvention investigation on Chinese imports of hinges, base metal mountings, fittings and similar articles for furniture and hat-racks, hat-pegs, brackets and similar fixtures consigned through Chinese Taiwan, Malaysia and Indonesia. The anti-dumping duties in question are extended to products originating from and/or consigned through these countries. Five Taiwanese companies that were verified to be producers are exempted. Turkey had imposed anti-dumping duties ranging between 0.508 and 1.39 USD/kg. for the products in question in February 2004. Communiqué (in Turkish). News item provided by ACT Istanbul
