The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) initiated investigations on January 6, 2012, under the Special Import Measures Act, respecting the alleged injurious dumping and subsidizing of potassium silicate (also known as silicic acid, potassium salt; potassium water glass; potash water glass; potassium silicate glass), of all grades and ratios in a soluble solid including chunks, flakes or powder forms, originating in or exported from the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The investigations follow a complaint filed by National Silicates Partnership of Etobicoke, Ontario. Notice
