Argentina initiates anti-dumping investigation on zippers

Ruler
Date: 05 May 2008

The Ministry of Economy of Argentina has published Resolution 120/2008 opening a dumping investigation on imports of nylon, injected plastic and bronze zippers (N.C.M. 9607.11.00, 9607.19.00 and 9607.20.00) from Peru, Taiwan and the People's Republic of China. Interested parties will be able to offer all evidence supporting their legal position within 45 business days as of the opening of the investigation. It is important to mention that, as China is considered to lack a free market economy or in the transition to achieve one, Brazil has been selected as the third free market economy country in order to determine the normal value of the product.  Resolution News item provided by Allende & Brea
